After completing his law degree in 2003, Jason embarked on a varied professional journey that ultimately led him back to the legal field when he joined The Calgary Legal Team in January 2023. Now, in addition to gaining hands-on experience with the firm, he is completing the necessary steps to pursue his articles.

Jason's unique career path has included time as an educator, both studying and teaching in classroom settings. He also developed valuable interpersonal skills through his work in the hospitality industry, where he served in roles ranging from barista, bartender, and server to supervisory and management positions. Most recently, Jason dedicated his time as a stay-at-home parent to his two young children, an experience that reinforced his abilities in organization, patience, and multitasking.

Originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Jason is enthusiastic about his return to the legal profession. He values the opportunity to work alongside and learn from the experienced professionals at The Calgary Legal Team while developing his legal skills to effectively serve the firm's clients.

When away from the office, Jason can be found at the Calgary Winter Club, cheering at the hockey rink and ball diamond, or enjoying weekend adventures with his son, daughter, and French Bulldog.
