Nikhil Arora is an Associate Lawyer at The Calgary Legal Team, where he focuses on family law, civil litigation, and wills and estates. With experience in two legal systems, he brings a client-centred approach that blends analytical precision with practical problem-solving.

 

Before immigrating to Canada, he practiced law in India for five years, concentrating on civil and criminal litigation. In Alberta, he completed his articles under the mentorship of Lori-Ann Cohoe, KC, gaining courtroom experience before both the Court of King’s Bench and the Provincial Court. He also developed skills in arbitration and mediation, helping clients resolve disputes through collaborative solutions.

 

Fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi, he is dedicated to serving clients from diverse backgrounds with clarity and compassion. “Grounded in two legal systems, driven by one purpose — to serve,” he says. “My goal is to build lasting client relationships while achieving meaningful results.”

 

Outside of law, he is a passionate cricket enthusiast and devoted movie lover, finding both strategy and storytelling that inspire his work as an advocate.
